SPEAKER SLIDES

With the government’s ambitious target of an 80% cut in greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, businesses, not-for-profits and public sector organisations, who are responsible for 40% of the UK’s carbon output, urgently need to find a way to develop more sustainable operating models.

The Sustainable Business in Practice Expo has been designed to help organisations create winning green business strategies, which both improve environmental performance and meet efficiency, financial and commercial goals, particularly important during the current challenging economic climate.

It will cover:

  • real insights from a range of organisations, who have successfully implemented green strategies

  • expert advice on energy and resource efficient actions that can be taken to increase cost savings

  • the latest sustainable business solutions in the marketplace

  • green fiscal incentives and funding opportunities

  • employee, leadership and knowledge development to drive the sustainability agenda in your organisations

The event is being staged in association with the Bristol Environmental Technologies & Services Initiative (BETS) and follows the inaugural BETS Expo in 2008, which was attended by some 250 delegates from the South West, nationally and overseas.
